It’s not always fun for your friends and family to come and stand around watching you running and cycling about the countryside at adventure races but for 53N WAR Powerscourt there is lots to keep people entertained. Here are just a few suggestions to entice them to join you on the day:

Powerscourt Waterfall
• Powerscourt Gardens offer visitors a sublime blend of formal gardens, sweeping terraces, statues and ornamental lakes with secret hollows, rambling walks and over 200 variations of trees and shrubs. There are two walks you can enjoy in the Gardens – a 40 minute walk and a 1 hour walk.
• The Museum of Childhood featuring Tara’s Palace is a favourite with children at Powerscourt. This beautiful 22 room palace took 20 years to build and shows extraordinary craftsmanship.
