Glendalough

Hailed by many as the toughest Adventure Race Challenge in Ireland. This course  takes you along the Spink Run over the Sally Gap, along the challenging Djouce run and kayaking on the magical Lough Dan.

Come test your endurance in one of the most spectacularly beautiful parts of Ireland.

There is a choice of three courses WAR, the shorter WAR-Sport and for 2012 the new WAR Mini option.

WAR Glendalough 2011

Local favorite Noelie Kavanagh (Wicklow Tri Club) pulled away from the rest on Djouce to hold off the multiple Irish time trial record holder Padraig Marrey on the final Sally Gap cycle.  In the women’s race Emma Donlan was the clear winner by 20mins from local Roundwood resident; Lorraine Creane (Wicklow Tri Club).
